The Ripper (RS-1) unit is 100% made in the USA and will bolt onto most sets of standard 7 1/4” trauma shears. Its blades, made from 440A surgical-grade stainless steel for durability and corrosion-resistance, receive a proprietary treatment to improve cutting ability and edge retention, making them last 5x longer than standard carbon steel blades. Attach to existing shears with a Phillips screwdriver.

Rip Shears now carries a line of high-quality, CE-approved fully assembled shears with black-anodized, surgical stainless steel blades and either Black (RS-2B), Olive Drab Green (RS-2G) or Desert Tan (RS-2T). Rip Shears will easily slice through multiple layers of clothing, boots, leather jackets, denim, wetsuits, chemical biological and radiological suits (CBR), bandages, sports wraps, plastic packaging, seat belts and much more! A pilot cut is first made with the shears, then the Ripper unit is inserted to quickly rip through material. Just snip and rip!

The Firefly was developed after numerous requests from paramedics for a glow-in-the-dark version. The Firefly will keep medics from losing their Rip Shears while working in low-light conditions. Fully assembled glow-in-the-dark Ripper on hi-vis orange or pink shears with black-anodized, surgical stainless steel blades. Never lose your trauma shears again! Now available with orange shears (RS-3F) or pink shears (RS-3P).
